Took delivery of this Big Guy today, parted ways with the 23...Loved how it performed, the color and goodies I had on it, had minimal issues with it but couldnt shake the reliability issues from my mind with the 6.2 even tho I was on top of the maintenance game...Got 58k trade from it with 15k on the clock. So time for a change. 6.6 gasser with dark essentials, high clearance off road steps, bed cover, has the 5th wheel prep so I can get my toyhauler later when I get outta the power plant game....Love it so far, get my catch can on and do a Borla S on it....THIS TRUCK IS A HOSSCAT...😆 Love the solid feel and will chat in as I go along... Barely squeaked it in the garage...That will be changing soon too...but it fits...Peace out ZR2 Mafia👍

Went to the configurator and built what I wanted, but when I went to the dealership it was on the last week of 25 ordering so it could of been a 25 or 26 then the sales manager said that the 77k truck I was going to order could be 5 to 8k higher pending for 26...so we went searching for the truck that had the heavy torsion bars, high clearance side steps, dark essential and wheel package and 5th wheel prep in slate gray....no dice on that,so a red hot one popped up 50 mi from the dealership I was at so they put the essentials, steps, folding bed cover and console safe in at the same price of 77k...The Red Hot is growing on me the more I look at it and I feel that I got a better deal b4 gm and mary bad bearings could take me for more $$$$ for a truck that isnt gonna get any major changes till 2028👍😁

Was at the dealer yesterday...Had a low mileage 6.6 gasser there replacing a head. The head was leaking coolant from an apparent defect in the casting. They all break....at some point. :ROFLMAO:

I think you will be happy with it. I did the same thing last year going from a 22 6.2 to a 24 6.6 gas. I like the HD way better. Definitely more piece of mind as far as reliability goes. You probably did much better just finding one then waiting. Who knows about the price increase the salesman told you. But depending how the 6.2 recall shakes out. Who knows what trade in will be in a few months either. I was on the fence about it and waited. My trade in value dropped like 4k overnight, lol. That was without a open recall going on. Carfax emailed me yesterday about my 22 with a open recall for loss of propulsion and Status Remedy not available yet. I can't imagine the recall not effecting their value any. Especially as more people jump ship.
