Grill Bar Color

I was cleaning my grill and noticed the two horizontal bars on top and below the flowtie are painted a dark grey metallic color. They are not black like the rest of the grill and do not match the black truck paint.

Are they all painted this dark grey metallic color?

I just looked at mine and they are BLACK and not a dark gray metallic. Someone asleep at the wheel at the factory???

Mine match yours. I am pretty sure they are designed that way.

I see you have a blue truck and not a black one. All I can say is that my black truck doesn't have metallic bars on it.

Perhaps it was blacked out before you got it as from the factory the grilles are all the same even on a black truck.

If mine is a metallic gray, I certainly don’t see it. Could be my eyes, but looks solid black to me and I usually catch these types of things too.

They're also releasing a blackout ZR2 pkg for '24, let's wait and see how much will be blacked out.

This one is not black either.

Yeah, it definitely looks like it might be standard issue. You really don't notice it until you start looking harder. I actually like the color, but not sure why the front clip has so many colors.

My bars are not black on my otherwise black ZR2. You can see the gray ever so slightly in the other post where I was asking about DRLS before / after the update...

The online configurator still shows the lighter colored bars for 2023.
