He was born in GA, but raised in the Tampa Bay area. No matter how unknown, famous, infamous, or otherwise that he became, he always stayed in this area. It was always his home....From the days of playing bass in a band in the old Rocket Club, to filming Thunder in Paradise in the Gulf near Palm Harbor, to his reality show filmed in his home in Bellaire Bluffs, to his new home in Clearwater Beach...He was always one of us, he always had time for a fan, he was human and made mistakes. He was one of us, he just had a lot more money. RIP dude.

He was a good man. Recognized he wasn't perfect and always tried to reconcile and live a good life.

The first time I ever heard "Feels so Good", I was flying an airplane and trying to tune the ADF and instead of hitting the NDB I was trying to get, I hit an AM radio station playing that tune. I left it there to hear the DJ tell me who it was. I was hooked.

I remember when Hulkamania was running wild after his son Nick severely injured that teenage kid in a car accident and Hulk told Nick that kid deserved it anyway in a leaked phone conversation. That level of Hulkamania was a level of fucked up I'll never forget when I heard it. That's when Hulkamaania died for me.

To be clear, here is what he ACTUALLY said in a jailhouse phone conversation with his son: "I don`t know what type of person John was or what he did to get himself in the situation. I know he was pretty aggressive and used to yell at people and used to do stuff. For some reason, man, God laid some heavy shit on that kid, man. I don`t know what he was into."

That's a far cry from saying John Graziano deserved it.

That's some Hulkamania level cold fucked up shit to say to try and console your jailbird kid that severely injured his "friend" due to his recklessness.

My message woukd have been "you stoopid MFer you better get your shit together and find Jesus real quick. You repent for your sins and ask for forgiveness and you'll be saved."

Unfortunately, he missed the opportunity and his son hasn't done anything with his life because he wasn't held accountable.

Hulk did find Jesus recently, so maybe he was saved!

I don't disagree. But for the media to go around stating that he said Graziano "deserved it"...which he didn't say....Was just as fucked up. I viewed it this way: Both those young men were being stupid. One drove stupid and the other never demanded he stop driving stupid. They both paid a price...One more than the other. I hope some other kid watched it and learned something from it.

That POS Nick continued to rack up speeding tickets and reckless driving charges and had a DUI end of 2023. He's well in his 30s and he needed a country ass whipping to square him up. I'm sure the media was responsible for that too. Hulkamania would have been running wild on his ass around my house. Ida body slammed his his ass like he was Andre the Giant.
