The stock sensor has plenty of range for a simple CAI. It’s reused in supercharged applications that move much more air.

It is critical however that you disconnect the battery and wipe the fuel tables. The truck will need to relearn short and long term fuel trims.

During the learning period fuel mileage will suffer and eventually improve to normal or possibility of a slight improvement.
