A few thoughts here:
1. If I could put money it, I would say it's FAR greater than 4% and I would say it's not "hyped"...it's real
2. PICO's are passing and oil and caps are being replaced and then the motors still fail
3. Yes, you get a 10 year/150K warranty. The BIG issue is that they are replacing them with motors that are UNCHANGED and still failing
4. People are on their 3rd and 4th motor...unacceptable!
You are playing with fire with these 6.2 motors. Maybe you'll get "lucky" and maybe you won't. Serious safety risk here based on what many folks have encountered. The big question is "do you feel lucky punk?"
If I was in the market, and did not need a truck "right now", I'd wait and give the 27 a shot with the new 6.6 or go with another brand like RAM...not Toyota
I am looking forward to coming back to a Chevy in the future, now is just not the time.
SG, I'm glad you like the F 250, Zilla. I've had two Fords and they were both good vehicles My 2018 F-150 had one radio module replaced in 51,000 miles. It was the first year of spray in cylinder liners for the 5.0 liter. Jap bikes have been doing it for 15 years and it works good. I don't know if Ford did it the same way but I change my oil at 3 K , and it never used a drop. I think Ford's get a bad rap. There are several on my street and the owners like them. Many are oil field trucks and get the crap worked out of them.

He’s at least admitted there is a “problem”…at one point he argued it was all internet hype, we are making progress closer to reality.A few thoughts here:
