Only when I need them if I cant get up an obstacle. I will say these X-MTs need them more than the GY 35s I had

I haven't used my lockers much. Was wondering if they bit too much on the rock. The new sxs i have has them, but haven't used them yet.

They work perfect. Definitely would be getting to the top of the hard trails with out them. The rear locker usually gets the job done.

Only time I've used both was in deeper snow, other than that, just rear at times to avoid wheel spin. But agreed, they work great.

I've only used mine pulling out a couple vehicles and a little bit on some trails climbing, but it wasn't very rough terrain.
