Remote Start Q

Was at the dealer, working on another matter, looking at a Bison. Kicking tires and stuff, then remote started it, jumped in hit the start button, and the screens were still blank, tried to put it in gear and there was some kind of chime, anyway shortening this up it was running but just wasn’t able to do anything. So turned it off and push button started, all was good. Did I miss a step in here? Gremlin?

was your foot on the brake pedal when jumped in and hit start button?

Good question, don’t remember now that you say that. Ram doesn’t require it, but I think GM does, right?

100%. after remote start you need to depress brake first. splash animation on DIC and infotain after pressibg start.

The DIC will tell you to press the brake with a message. You might just have had a software glitch.
