Slate vs Silver

Found a silver z71 next to my slate zr2 tonight, for anyone looking for the color difference

I drove around to local dealerships to find side-by-side, in-person comparisons before I bought my ZR2. I wasn't trusting my eyes looking at a computer screen. I see that we both made the proper choice in our ZR2's - ha!

I do like the slate at certain angles, But It just looks too much like plastic to me... or primer colored... like an unpainted truck. It totally looks better with more black accents on the truck though.
