I have a 2023 Silverado 1500 ZR2 with a 6.2L. I am about to buy a new boat. I plan on trailering it each time I go to the water. The boat is a robolo r250 and it's going to sit on about a 1200 pound aluminum trailer. The total weight of that is going to be 7,200 lb. It has a 165 gallon fuel tank so if it were full I would be right up near the upper towing limit.

I'm thinking about getting a mishimoto transmission cooler MMTC-T1-19 and an equalizer 4 point sway control hitch. Does anybody have any thoughts on this do you think this would be sufficient? Thanks.

You'll have plenty of power and towing capability. The real weak link is the light rear suspension. You need spring improvements and/or air bags. Both are discussed in many threads.

My transmission stays very cool. The 10 speed is quite nice for towing, especially easy to manage heat driving in L. Not sure i would worry about a cooler until you tow a couple times to see how it manages the load.
