What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

Finally Installed a Range DFM module - so much better now.
Removed the front flow-tie and hyperdip it satin black, and replaced the rest of the chrome emblems with black versions.

How did you remove the flow tie

Very carefully using plastic pry tools.
It has 4 tabs holding it in, but you cant get to them from the back side.
Just when it feels like its going to break, it pops out, lol.
Thanks. Would be neat if they offered a light up one.

Let's see what you have done with your Silverado ZR2!
Finally added a bullet antenna and just wondering if it’s sitting correctly or if i need to adjust it more

De-badged!

Well, everything except the 6.2L on the hood scoop. Not sure how I will get that one done yet since I cant use the eraser wheel on it. Everything came off pretty easy except the two on the fenders. They left an outline that I may or may not have gotten completely out yet. Ill look tomorrow when I its out in the sun so I can see it at different angles.

The only remaining badge is the ZR2 in the grill. I have a replacement on the way. I also plasti dipped the flow tie up front. Not sure how much I care for it yet.

Edit: 6.2L on the hood now gone and gave her a bath. All nice a clean now.

She got a bath. With the ceramic and my new pressure washer/DI spotless setup washes take no time.

Applied Adam’s Graphene Glass coating to the windows and mirrors. If it lasts a year and works, this stuff is the shit, easier to apply than RainX and probably similar price if you don’t have to apply it every wash.

Bring it out West and we'll pop your cherry!

Swapped the Silverado sport running boards and the TruXedo Pro X15 low-profile tonneau cover from my old Trail Boss over to the ZR2. The wife and daughter are much happier now that getting into the truck is a bit easier! Also transferred my faded .50 cal antenna while I was at it. Loving the upgrade from the Trail Boss—this ZR2 is a whole new level!

The night pic was taken during an anniversary glamping trip I took with my wife to Fredericksburg, TX. The ZR2 made the trip even better!

Put on a new pair of sliders cuz the old ones were hit.
