What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

I had single stage paint correction, front end PPF, ceramic coating, and then matched front window tint to rear. Next up I'm blacking out my flowtie.

Roto-Pax mounts and tanks are on. Will have the lighting done by the end of next week if the dealership figures out or replaces my infotainment center reboot quickly

As many of you know, if you want a red 2 on the blacked out ZR2 badges from Chevrolet you can do as I did, swap three of the four 2s out, but that leaves you with either painting or placing red vinyl in the grille 2.

The other day I was looking on eBay and found that a blacked out with red 2 Silverado ZR2 grille badge is now available. I bought one and received it today. It’s an exact match the the factory black badges in size and color.

This is the eBay listing link

Sweet.
I've been in Colorado since July. I go out every weekend.
I Have the Yakima rack with a Smitty built XL rooftop tent.
I also have the Decked bed vault two drawer system. I just put on a new set of Toyo 295-70-18 mud terrains. No lift or leveling kit. I've put hundreds of miles in the backcountry and ATV trails. I just don't see a need for it. Next is a 270 awning. I currently have 28,000 miles on my ZR2.
Are you still in CO?

Lights are on the rack and it's night and day difference on the trails in the dark. We are currently camping in the Dixie National Forest in Utah. Next is a jack and jack mount.

The HD got a Magnaflow muffler and Powder coated black tip. Tinted windows and I put a RetraxPro XR cover. I've got Molle panels from Built right on the way. Ordered them a week ago when I got the cover. They seem to be taking their time getting here. I'll put those and the Rack on hopefully this weekend. That and LED reverse light bulbs 🙄.. Stereo and onboard air will be next on the list. Really missing my Stereo.

Don't forget the black exhaust tip.

I carry this one in my tool box with all of the other gear. This is the 4th truck it has been in. Used it just a few times but in the sand and rock it really works great especially with the extra height.

Lol, it's welded on there. I just didn't take a after picture. Took that one cause I sent it to my wife. 🙃 The 1500 got exhaust the day after I got it. I waited a couple days on the 2500.

I was thinking more of a high jack. Not enough room with the decked system, BUT that is a bad ass jack. I would definitely have one if I could fit it in! 👍

If you've never had an oil separator before you will be amazed at how much oil it stops from going back into the intake. Just get in the habit of emptying it every thousand miles or so, because they fill up rather quickly.

It’s odd how the amount can vary. I had one on my 2014 Ram R/T and it would fill within 1,000 to 1,500 miles. I have yet to have more than a 1/2” of oil in 1,500 miles on this truck.

If you live in a cold weather state, the amount will be far higher based on condensation. You will have a milky mixture of oil and water versus in warm states, like FL, it's just oil. I can easily go 2500-3000+ miles and still not have 1.5 ounces of oil.

I forgot to empty mine between oil changes a few months ago and it got 3/4 full. I just try to do every 1k miles as a best practice.
