Window Trim Decals

I might warm it up a bit or wait for a while til the sun is bright and warm outside.
Ok, thanks.
Might be waiting a while for it to warm up here. Might need to crank up the garage heater, don't know if I want to wait till April to put them on. :)

You can use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm all the surfaces, I do that even if it is warm, worked for a long time with similar things and warming things up really helps to activate the adhesives and you will get a harder cure once it cools. Clean surfaces are a must.

Well that didn't last long! I already lost a piece of the trim on the passenger side rear window. I was doing 80 mph on the interstate and heard a snapping sound and it was the trim flapping in the wind. I had to drive about 1 mile and was about to pull over and it got torn off.

It wasn't an install problem, as there was plenty of tape residue left on the truck. I just dont thinknthis tape is up to the task. That is especially true of this piece, which seems to be in a position where it gets a lot of wind directed at the edges as it flows around the cab. I noticed the other side had collected a lot of small bugs right on the edge, so it's a difficult spot.

I'll see if the vendor will send me another piece, but not sure this is durable long-term.
