Got the Boost Auto ION Series door handles installed finally. Took a lot of zip ties to get all the wiring the way I wanted it. I went ahead and upgraded the rear doors with passive entry...drives me crazy they stopped putting on our trucks.
...and now for the mod that no one asked for, and honestly many people might even have something to say about it, but seeing as it's my truck and I decided to finally pull the trigger on a simple mod I have wanted for a while, I honestly don't give the south-end of a north-bound rat. I like it. By lucky happenstance I ended up with extra parts, and I have an extra splitter, so I think I might add a small strip to the passenger side vent to match the driver's side lights. Other than that, I like they way they look:
I still have the caliper paint and pods to install, but I think I might have to move up the timeline on exhaust and rims.

I really want the BoostAuto lighted door handles. I just really wish they would offer a smoked lens for the and the LumaStep. They all look good on your truck!

I can honestly say I would've liked them a bit more with a smoke to them, I've been debating testing out some vinyl and seeing how it looks, but for now I still love how they work together.

4 months have passed and I have hardly modded anything, it's funny what mid-divorce will do to your time 
I did finally properly install the 6-way relay/fuse box under the hood/in the wheel well, which will make wiring up the remaining accessories so much nicer. Switches are already in place, and all wires are just ready to be plugged in. Dash lights, 6 Way RTG lights and Putco Blade all run through the box, leaving 3 spots for the pods (I am keeping the amber and white separate) and still debating the last switch/relay set. I am still leaning toward ditch lights, but my daughter still insists on rock lights...
I have been staring at the calipers since I bought it and telling myself "well, I don't want to paint those until I get the rims, and I want to install the pods before I get the rims, but I want to have the exhaust in before I touch the pods..." and it was driving me crazy, especially since I already had the caliper paint sitting here since last year. Anyway, after almost a year of delaying perfection, I finally bit the bullet and yanked the rims off to get the calipers painted. I went with G2 color-matched caliper paint...and as someone that has always used POR-15, I am impressed. Not only was the color nice, but it went on great. Almost too great. With POR-15, I could see the blotchiness on the first coat, which actually made subsequent coats easier to see where I had missed. This stuff, however, already looked great on the first coat, and I had a hard time with the following coats seeing what needed touched up more. Overall, I ended up with 4-5 coats. The kit actually came with some nice brushes too, which was great. Is it an exact match? No, at least I can see a difference, but it is pretty damn close.
Now I just need to debate if I am going to a rims or exhaust purchase next. Either way, I think my next step will be to install the bumper spacers and take a look at modding the rear of the wheel wells to prep for the new rims. I will be going with -12 offset, and since I know @AXE is partial to that look, I got a question for you. Would you recommend waiting until I install the rims and doing a trim-to-fit situation, or, following your post, do you think I will be able to make the adjustments beforehand? I shouldn't have to mess with the bumper since I will be installing the spacer, but I am nervous about putting the new rims on and then tearing something up before I even get him home. I will be staying with stock suspension, and probably stock tires, but there is a tiny chance I will upsize the tires just a hair, and with that -12, I would rather be safe...

Took the day to install the Borla exhaust. I made a last minute decision to switch from the Touring to the S-Type. After install I stepped back and got pretty nervous with the cold start growl...and I have to say, I have regrets. I regret that I did not install this sooner, and I regret that I ever considered the Touring system. After a lot of research and sound clips I was nervous that the Touring would be too quiet and not give me the punch I wanted...and I would have to guess that I was right, because the S-Type is perfect. No drone at cruise, wonderful tone during acceleration...everything I was looking for.
I also threw in the lights on the Multi-FLex...because I am a sucker for excess lighting and honestly I am getting old and could probably use all of the lighting I can get. The inside two lights would not snap into place at first, but it turned out that the thin metal just needed to be bent up slightly to give the plastic tabs something to snap against. Everything is nice and secure and works great.
I will probably paint (HyperDip) the emblems tomorrow, but I think for today I am going to call it. I got a long weekend, so I am in no rush.

Daughter decided she wanted a backyard campout, so the lights got put to use, but even in the dark the truck looks good. I used to look back because it was a new truck, now I look back because it's my truck.
I got the next phase completed today. What can I say, I am a sucker for blacked-out emblems.
I have a handful of lights and then it is just a matter of the rims...and I think I will be done. For now. Maybe.
I may still sneak a CB in there just for those long trips to nowhere.

I got the pods installed. I will say that crawling under the truck and trying to get the washer, lock washer and nut all on the back of the bolt while simultaneously trying to hold the bolt from the other side was...interesting. Naturally, right after I struggled with it for a while and finally got all 4 bolted in place...my buddy pulled into the driveway. After all 4 were installed with the support bracket, I can honestly say these things are solid.
I was not a huge fan of the stock covers. First of all, I do not get paid to advertise (and there is already branding on the lights themselves) and while I did like the design...I did not care for the yellow color.
So, using some vinyl wrap and a few tedious techniques I covered everything up and mimicked the design...but in blue. I am still debating adding my own lettering on the slope, but I am not sure what to put in there. I thought about trying to get/make some ZR2 decals and adding those...but I will have to give it some thought. I also want to mimic the blue design for the covers on the upcoming ditch lights.
I took it for a spin last night and tested headlights vs brights vs RTG grill lights vs Auxbeam pods...and I am in love with everything so far. I am going to post some illumination comparison pictures, but I should be installing the ditch lights some time this week, so I am going to wait until I have those installed so I can have a full comparison. I will say that having the switches and wiring preinstalled made things so much smoother on the install.

Got the lights installed, cleaned up the truck and went out for some clarity tests, positioning and various late night cruise stuff. My daughter is loving all the little additions to the truck, and I am excited to hit a few quick trails before it gets too cold out.
It's really hard to simulate the lighting through a phone camera image, but I did my best to take the same picture with the same settings. Of course night mode kept trying to kick in and ruin the image...but you can still see a bit of difference
...when we got back I did some final adjustments against one of the garage doors.
Next up is CB setup. Should be in by next weekend...I got too much going on this weekend.

I hated your old side steps. The M2s are a tremendous improvement (IMO). The wiring work is impressive!

I completely agree. Even non-rusted I don't care for those, and so far I am loving the M2s. Although it is almost salt season up here in Minnesota, so we'll see how they hold up.

Got the CB installed. I went with the Cobra 75 for it's compact size and the fact that if I want to run the handset without plugging into the unit, I can. I tucked it between the drivers seat and center console. It does not affect the movement of the seat and it keeps it out of my way, but still within arm's reach if I want to plug directly into the unit.
For the handset I decided to utilize the small "key holder' that I never use because my keys are always either in my pocket or in my lunchbox on the passenger seat. It sits in there rather nicely, and the best part is that the cord does not rub against my leg even when it is plugged into the unit. However, what's nice about this setup is I can also plug it into either the USB in the center console or on the dash and it will still Bluetooth connect to the unit and that keeps the cord even further out of my way.
For antenna mount I went with a bed rail mount. Bent a bracket to fit the rail that perfectly clears the tonneau cover when it rolls up but also does not stick out past the side of the bed rail. I took it far away from the cities and ran some SWR dialing in to make sure I was set up as good as I can be. I also reutilized my twist-n-lock quick release so I can pull the antenna for low clearances, security, etc.
It makes it not as noticeable from the front, but still sticks up far enough for decent range. I took it out to the country to perform some radio checks and I seem to be getting decent quality transmissions. It's nice that this unit operates on both AM and FM and has all the features I need or want for the little bit of traveling and off-road trips I take or plan to take.
I also decided to 'upgrade' the dash cam. I was never a fan of the fact that the FitCamX had no cab camera option since I have actually known people that submitted dash cam footage and they were hit with "but how do we know it was you that was driving?" so again, I went with Cobra. It does hang down a little lower and of course doesn't look "built in" but I would rather have the quality.
So far I like this setup much better, the hardwiring went much smoother, the app support is way better, and honestly even the image quality is cleaner. The in-cab and rear cameras are 1080p, but even those seem much nicer than the previous camera. Not to mention the parking mode already seems far more effective.
It also seems to have more functions than I will ever use, but I might play with them a bit and see if they are worth the hype. Small things like Speed Trap notifications, red light camera locations...all sorts of random things. For now, I just wanted the camera.
I am really hoping to be able to hit the Iron Range trails up here in Minnesota before deer season starts, but I am quickly running out of time so I might have to wait until after season or next spring. Either way, definitely getting closer to taking Stitch on the trails...
