Shifting gears and moving on to my fav Japanese whiskey, Hibiki. Which I find fun that spell check tries to change it to Hoboken.

Yamazaki 12 is by far one of my favorites, but it's gotten so damn expensive. Hibiki is a great daily as a substitute.

I dipped into momma’s McTavish tonight and lit up a Plasencia. Wonderful pairing.

Uh yea the sample was $190 per ounce. We were not told that was the case so they only ended up charging us for 1.

Yea I wouldn’t have done it. It was a big miscommunication but they did good. And it was delicious. They gave us a tasting of a couple of other things too so I don’t feel so bad. When on vacation ya know.
