Can someone please explain the process from order to build and delivery? My understanding is once I place an order with the dealership they wait until chevy gives them an allotment to build one and if you are next in line at your dealer yours then goes into production? What does the 34000 status mean?

These codes give some explanation. The quick answer for 3400 would be that your trucks build has been broadcasted to the plant and suppliers so they can get the parts required to build the truck. Unless there is some sort of unforseen part shortage it should be built on time.

TPW (Target Production)​

Target Production Week (TPW) is the week that the production plant has targeted to produce the vehicle order. A TPW is usually assigned by status code 3300.
