New Recall

Haven’t seen this posted yet so I thought I’d mention it, in the my Chevy app I was alerted to a recall notice for the fuel pump control module. N262558690

This same issue left me stranded on I95 back in June of this year which they replaced under warranty luckily. My dealer said to still bring it in for the new part nonetheless.

If anyone else has had a similar experience you will want to look into it, especially if you’re in a southern state or salty region like me in South Florida. Supposedly those things really degrade this part.

Just searched up that recall by the number you provided and it was updated as of 12 August to include 22-23 Chevy Silverado's with a phased roll-out similar to the L87 recall. My guess just keep an eye out in the app or mail for when it is your turn to take it in.

I will have to check in with my SA. I've definitely seen a few party's and videos of HDs with bad FPCM. I don't think it's a prevalent as the 1500s, but your SOL if you're on the road out of town. I've had a spare one in my 1500 for 3+ years, but haven't needed it.
