Squeaky seat and "click in steering" - sanity check

Is it wrong of me that expect squeaks, creaks, pops, and all other kinds of noises when owning a truck or am I just used to running the shit out of them and stuff makes noise?

I guess this is what I get for seeing a truck as a tool. Kinda like my watches, knives, and guns. They’re for a purpose, not show and luxury.

If something is broke, yes fix it. Even if I have to fix it myself. However, that’s not why I bought my truck. I bought it to use it and use it hard.

I don’t mind being the outlier asshole on this btw…
To each their own, for sure. For $80k MSRP and $67k spend, I have expectations or at least desire the ability to adjust things via my own power, to get them "just so"

The dealership is not really my solution. I hire people at dealerships, I see my techs every-day, I am more careful and equipped than most dealer techs haha.

I just hadn't dug in yet, and was curious if these things I noticed were kind of omnipresent within the model line, or, more one-offs. Come spring I will look into and hopefully address them, was just looking for than sanity check lol.

Ill update thread if I find definitive causes!

Add me to the seat creak/clicking. I can feel it and hear it.
17k miles.
It's been doing it for about 12k miles or so
