What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

So maybe this is a stupid question.... Does anyone know or have a diagram of where the grease zerts are on the 2022 1500 ZR2

There are no grease zerks on a 1500, only the 2500/3500 HD. Thats what @Byrds8 is running now.

The 1500s used to have some zerks on the ball joints and tie rods, but everything is sealed now and once they wear out, you just replace the whole assembly, not the joint.

Well, that really sucks. Haven't checked the front end of my truck for grease fittings yet. At least now I don't have to look for them. Would rather be able to grease it than replace parts

Talked to a guy this weekend that has a 2024 2500 with over 30k miles and has never bothered to grease his lol.

Swapped the mirror lights for the smoked boost auto.

I ordered lower ball joints for my pavement princes but it appears as though my tools from ancient Egypt aren't modern enough. Had to return and order control arms. I went with the TTX. We shall see how it does in Moab in a few weeks

They make it harder and harder to do our own work on these gals. Have you done the hubs yet? I don’t want to wait too long before I can’t get that axle nut off.

Did an oil change today. Took out whatever the dealer put in and used Pennzoil Platinum and a WixXP filter. Now I guess Ill let it go normal intervals since it has had two changes in the 3620 miles it has been used lol.

Good stuff 👍 One of the best oils. Doing next one with mobile 1 supercar and will compare to the Pennzoil ultra platinum after 3k as @AXE suggested.
