What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

I don't think I've ever looked closely at that fitting, but there are fittings that are pressed in and if thats the case, you would need to cut the fitting off and drill it out. Then tap threads and install a new one.

Your talking about a lot more work. In that case, it may be better to asked the dealer to fix ix it.
Welp, in that case...I have to go back in a month to have them replace the driver's mirror again. The one they put on it has a weak ass motor that takes twice as long to fold or unfold. They said "give it a month, maybe it will loosen up" LOL. I'll just have them look at this too. Eventually, Ill have a whole truck of new/good parts lol.

Mary Bad Zerk Bad Mirror Barra likes warranty work!

Is this the one on the idler that's giving you problems? I'm not sure this is an OEM part, but you might be able to find one and check out the zerk. This particular one happens to screw in.

That one's always a pain to get to on my truck cause its up high and there's shit in the way.

Yep that is the one. That is the one up high youre talking about too. It's easy to get to if you remove the splash guard. Possibly that skid too.

I've gotta pull all my front skids on the Bison package to get to anything. It's a PIA, cause they're heavy and awkward and they dump shit in your face every time. I use that extension, which makes it much easier.

Luckily I only have one splash and skid. The skid was only painful due to the bad shoulders lol.

I can tell you've never seen a grown Chevy naked. Guess I'll have to service my own fluids, story of my life. And I didn't know we had a pickleball thread, so excited!

And FYI there's 10 zerks good luck with the chafing!

Finished the ditch lights in the bumper end caps. Really simple to do, easy to mount and run the wiring, just pull up the liner a bit and you have full access. May be able to fit a squadron in there but I didn't think it was necessary, but there's plenty of room behind it. Handles my side lighting on turns through the night trail runs.
