What have you done to your Silverado ZR2 this week? 🛠️

Finally wrapped up the AMP install. Had to wait on a new OBD2 harness from them

Boost auto steps installed. Not sure they were installed correctly. Seem to not be as flush in the rear. Granted there isn’t much adjustment on these. I’m waiting to hear what boost has to say though.

Can you slide the step forward in the body mounts? It looks a little far back. I like mine as far forward as possible so I can use them to reach the windshield with the door open. I like the front a few inches from the fender flare.

Yes, I can and will be moving it forward more. I moved them backward like the video mentioned thinking maybe it would sit more flush but it didn’t help.

What do you think of the white running light on them vs the amber? I had ordered amber but I think the white is growing on me.

Yes, the lights are on while driving. Then when turning the turn amber. I will say they light up that side well where it was dark for the camera at night. I thought the amber looked more like a marker too but the white is growing on me just due to matching the headlights function.

No, the guy that did the install did not remove the tires.

After further consideration, I opted to have them send me the correct modules to update the boards accordingly. I noticed also, due to how bright the lights are, it killed the Trailboss puddle lights in the mirror. That kinda sucks. Hope changing it to the marker as I originally intended will fix that also. May not though.

Installed some 12" 5050 LED strips in favor of the BS AMP ones. Hid them under the truck. Also turned the torsion bars up 3 turns

I am debating turning the torsion bars a bit to level my truck more. I don't really want to compromise the ride but would like to level the stance a little more. After looking at your pics, Did 3 turns raise it 1 inch?? What are Your thoughts on the ride quality afterwards? Thanks and Cheers! 🍻

It's a touch stiffer, nothing outrageous. If you don't like the ride it's easily reversible. So I say try it out, and see what you think

Not often it snows in FL, much less two years in a row. Granted, last year we broke the state record with 10" and this year was just a tiny bit. But not many put snow and FL in the same sentence lol.

That's crazy! We live an hour from Houston, no snow yet this year
