Hey Everyone,
Ive been reading through this forum for a while but first time posting.
Purchased my Red Chevy Silverado ZR2 1500 in December 2025. It was a 2024 model brand new with 56kms on the truck. In Australia it takes about 8 months to come from America and get converted so most of our trucks here are sold "brand new" and are but are almost 1 year old from when they've left America.
I decided to PPF wrap it a silver blue colour but still thinking of reverting back to red hahahaha. Whats everyones thoughts?
I've also installed a set of retractable side steps.
Loving driving it. Always wanted a V8 especially a Chev so this is my first V8 truck as always had diesels before this. This is my work vehcile and my weekend toy in one.
I've also just had a 3.0L Whipple twin scroll supercharger installed and this thing is an animal now. Makes 519WHP and lots of fun.
Have purchased a set of 5 (1 for spare) 20 x 9 + 1 Fuel Cycle D835 wheels in matte gunmetal with black lip. Haven't installed yet as working out tyre size. I was originally looking at getting 285/60/20 Falken Wildpeak AT4 but my wheels arrived just as my truck went in to get the supercharger so I held off and now cant get my hands on that size anymore so tossing up between 275/60/20 Toyo Open Country AT3s or 275/65/20 Pirelli Scorpion AT plus. I am going to be doing the Peak Suspension front 2.25inch lift with BDS UCAs and rear 1.5inch lift block. So I'm stumped whether to go bigger tyre and deal with rubbing for now or stick with 275/60/20 and don't worry about trimming but will still lift this rig higher. What are peoples thoughts? I've scrolled through a lot of threads on here and GM Trucks forum threads to see what everyone is doing but still don't know with the +1 offset will the 275/65 profile rub?
Have put some photos in, the outside of truck pics were day after I had the PPF wrap done but before my retractable steps went in.
