Help interpreting the dash

Hi all,
So I just picked up a new ZR2 and still trying to figure stuff out. I set the left side of the DIC for MPG and drove it some distance. That value looks unusually high. Tried to reset but couldn’t figure out how to do that. Went to the trip 1 and reset. That MPG values appears different from the MPG value on the left side of the cluster. Does anybody know what that left MPG represents, is there a way to reset it and how does it relate to the trip1 MPG?

There's an average fuel economy that shows high and low mpg you can select in the center DIC. That is resettable and will probably result in resetting the left guage if that is where they are pulling data.

If the mpg is too high just smash the skinny pedal for a while, it will self correct rather quickly.

If you reset the mileage computer and the trip computer, the values you see are different. I suspect that the algorithm for the mileage computer is very different from the mileage on the trip computer. lord knows how they calculate that one.
