Infiniti audio app

I just discovered something pretty cool with the app. You can hit the notification bell in the upper left corner of the infotainment screen and it brings up this....

Press that and it opens the app. For some reason it doesn't do it every time though.

My 22 ZR2 software is still on Android 10 and im not able to get the app thru my radio. Searching pulls up no results for "Infiniti Personalized Sound", "Infinity" or however I search. No matter how I search or what I type in to search, there are no results for this app. Maybe it's just cause of Android 10.

Yeah that is the issue, you can take your truck to the dealer and have them look for the radio update. It will need to be updated via wire/cable and more than likely will cost you the diagnostic fee ($160)

I'm still notice nothing at all when using this app. Default to custom setting and nothing happens. Don't really care, but curious at to why it doesn't do anything at all.

I noticed a difference in mine, but I think with the personal Eq setting that is established after taking the test varies. You can play around with it some to find a setting you like... but the biggest difference is the bass seems to kick in at lower volume levels than before.

Its not worth $160 to me just so I can get the app. I have a Hideaway sub under the back seat. I'm happy with the sound of the system with the sub included.

Your infotainment system needs a reflash.

I had a chance to listen to my boys Colorado non Bose system with the Infiniti app yesterday. His system blows away anything I've heard in 3 Bose systems I've got.

His truck has the exact same equipment as the ZR2 with much better DIC/Infotainment system (no AC seats) and cost 50% of the money you spent on these shitbox ZR2s with Jensen speakers that can't even load up a functioning EQ app.......LMFAO.

I just put this app on my 26 3500 HD Denali and it helps alot on that stereo, my 22 zr2 sounded terrible, the 26 is better, but still not even close to my 19 high country, that was a true bose system in 19

Why would I do that? It's been working great and has the latest update. For a BS sound app that won't help me much anyway, I have lived without it and have no problem continuing to do so.

Why are you in this thread trying to make it work then......LMFAO.

Because dipshit I wanted to try it since some have said it makes a difference for them...OK?

You came into this thread wanting to know how to make it work on your rig. Many have offered suggestions on resolving issues. You now claim its a BS app, even though you have 0 experience with it.

Now you're mad cause I made a logical suggestion and you don't want to make the effort to try, so your taking your marbles and leaving the playground. Why keep posting if you've made your decision? Nobody's that vested in your plight and I'm just jerking your chain about it anyways.

I'm actually getting "mad" because you never know when to stop typing and let things go! A "logical" solution is to have the dealer reflash my audio when I cannot prove there is anything wrong with it? You going to send me the money to get them to do this for me?

If there is another "solution" that I haven't tried, I'm open to it but not gonna lose sleep over it either.

Mine seems to be working great, prob hit and miss with each truck. I think lower and mid volume is where it fills in nicely. I've got a passenger window going up and down with a mind of its own, thinking it's this damn app! :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

You've been around here long enough to know that when the infotainment system is not functioning the way it should, that it might need to be reflashed or updated. Many people have experienced that and it resolved issues, I've personally had it done a few times to address different issues. That's why I suggested it might be something to try.

You said "why do it, it's just a BS app anyway". Which is 100% contrary to everyone's positive experience with the app. I simply pointed out that you're mad cause you're frustrated it didn't work for you, so you shit on it.

Now if you're still interested in getting help, then perhaps you may just want to do a soft reboot like I had posted early on in this thread, which is exactly what what I tried followed by re-logging into my Google account......voila!

When you finally get it to work, you're gonna thank everyone, cause your Barry Manilow playlist will be bumping Coca Cabana like never before.
