Noise in suspension

the more i listen for the sound, the more it seems coming from the front or mid-truck. it seems like i can almost "feel it" under me.
well, i went through my suspension today. checked and retorqued everything. nothing was loose.
i believe i may have found the issue though. the driver side torsion bar is rubbing on the torsion bar crossmember. it is at the top of the bar. the bar is tight against the crossmember. the passenger side is not rubbing at all.
i am thinking with driving, uneven surfaces, etc... the torsion bar crossmember moves a bit then when the conditions are right, moves back and creates the "pop" noise.
the crossmember has bushing mounts, is not rigid mounted, and flexes.

I had the same noise and it was loose bolts to the lower control arms. The dealer said they weren't properly torqued to 190 lbs
from the factory. This was a stock 2025 model.

Finally got the truck back and as I suspected, the LCA didnt fix the noise. When the compressor finally comes in, they are hoping to have their "ears" replaced so they can try to track it down more. I say the should check the caliper pins and pads and make sure they are greased properly but I guess they dont think it can be that. LOL.

my brake pads made a chirping/rattle sound. i greased the ears of the pads, hardware, and pins. that eliminated the noises. may want to try that.

so my popping noise is fixed. it was not the torsion bar rubbing on the crossmember. i had cognito comfort ride bars installed and due to their lighter spring rate, they have to be cranked more to get the same ride height as the stock bars. that was throwing the alignment off on them. i reinstalled the stock bars and no more rubbing on the crossmember. the ride is actually better with the stock bars too. but that did not fix the popping noise.

i called deaver spring and talked to them and after exhaustive web search, it seems like other platforms have the same issue with the springs. deaver gave me suggested torque specs (not much different than factory) and said sometimes the 2nd wrap on the front of the spring can cause the pop. i was finding the same with the other complaints online as well. i noticed the 2nd wrap was extremely tight against the other leaf.
so i retorqued the bolts, and was able separate the leafs enough to spray a ton of grease between them.
it has been 2 days and i have not heard the pop. i could repeat the pop every time i pulled into and out of my driveway, not now.
i believe the leafs were binding on each other causing the noise, and actually not the torque of the bolts.

That's why i said to check those. I've seen many posts with spring issues in the past. The only problem with grease is that it will attract a lot of dirt and debris since its not sealed. You may want to look into graphite powder or silicone spray that evaporated. It might keep everything cleaner.
