hey all, new 22 ZR2 6.2 owner. so the wheel and tires are high on the list to change. Ive read 35s are the desired go to but thy dont seem to be something simple. Im not looking to change up the suspension yet. not even sure if im going to or how far down the road. My trailboss had 33x12.5 r20 with an aggressive stance. about 1 inch of poke. So can i run the same set up this truck with absolutely no issues. Or what are the similar set ups guys are running. thanks all

Why anyone would want to run a shorter tire than stock is beyond me.

Factory is 33.3 a “33x12.50” is 32.5. Way too small.

my questions was whos running a 33 setup with out the hassle of trimming or mods to suspension. theres a threshold in the 33" area...below 35 that will fit it appears, thats what im looking at right now. i also dont judge people by the size of their tires but thats just me . ;)

Whatever you had to do to a TB, you will have to do to a ZR2. Minus the mudflap.

Take a look at the ZR2 Oversize tire thread here, there's multiple posts for exactly what people have done, from stock suspension to lifts. Pics of results and info on what they are running. My 0 offset with a hair shy of 34's fits with no mods or cuts. Anything further pushed out, my guess would hit and cuts needed. I can fit my finger (barely) between the tire and bumper/fender on full locks.

ok let me check that out thank you. kinda my thoughts too. theres a lot of variables and ive done my research in the past to avoid issues so im just doing that now with the new truck.
