Finally a good looking bumper made here in the states.

For giggles I looked for the AEV Bumper for the 1500 and didnt see it on their site. The rear bumper was but not the front.
I think I like it better than the stock bumper.

Forgot to post update photos but here yall go. Baja designs onx6 20in, (2) s8 10in in the sides and the warn zeon xd 12k winch. Still using the spod bantamx to control everything even for the power disconnect for the winch. Next is the new arb twin brushless compressor when I can get my hands on one, for onboard air.

Looks good! Gaps don't look too bad except right below the grill is a little wider. They must have read my post pre-production.

🤣 I'm sure they were worried sick about your post. Thanks, I still think it's the best looking bumper made for them atleast states side.

My ADD is going to be here in a couple of weeks. The GM bumper is just not robust enough to even mount lights on top of it.

Hey @Busa Dave and @Dayzd !
I'm considering the same ADD Phantom bumper for my 2024 ZR2 HD.

A couple questions:
1. Dave: I think you might have gone with the front license plate option on the bumper. I intend to not run a winch but I also intend to not run a front license plate. Is it going to look Goofy with the winch hole if I left it as is?

2. How did you guys run the wiring for both the 2x side lights, and the center light bar? Did you tap into the factory fog lights for the side lights? And run a separate wiring+switch for the center?

3. I went with the 4-in McGaughys lift on my truck. Based on it's aftermarket crossmember I have a suspicion that the skid plate the ADD bumper comes with may not fit.. so I may have to opt out of adding that.

If you would, let me know if you have any thoughts/feedback based on how the bumper lined up on your trucks.

Thanks so much in advance.

Here's a few pics of mine:

Yes, agree the hole was covered perfectly with my License Plate. I am in Texas most of the time and it is the law here. Have a couple of friends who were LEO's and they told me do not do it. On my 2022 F250 Tremor with the winch the Ford Mount did not work so I said screw it. Got pulled over and given a written warning by a DPS Trooper. Mounted it with screws in the bumper after that.

The fogs on the side--not legal too powerfu1 but are wired into the fog lite switch and the center section has its own switch.

I would run a separate wire harness with a relay to the battery and switch. Thats how I did my bumper lights front and rear on my AEV bumper. I Baja Designs lights and harnesses. I've got some detailed posts on how I did it. Also others have posted how they have added some pretty slick controls for a range of lights and accessories in the 1500 forum.

The stock harness is designed for the amps that those lights pull and may not accomadate additional higher amperage lights. You run the risk of blowing fuses, torching the harness, or damaging the lighting control module.

I recently posted a video of a guy that was denied warranty when his LCM was damaged due to aftermarket LEDs. Better to be safe and its not difficult.

I just am finishing up a new sxs wiring project with 6 separate harnesses and 4 relays. I have used the Amazon Nilight prewired harnesses as a srarting point and then I customize the leads, connectors, and switches. They only cost about $15-20 and you can't buy the wire for that, plus they have switches, sheaths, and . Look at the amps or watts they list for each harness and select based upon the amps or watts your lights draw.
