For those of you that have ordered, if you know your order#, just reply to this thread and I can check the status for you.

You will see me use the term TPW. This stands for Target Production Week. It means that the truck is scheduled to be built at some point during that week.

Below are the relevant GM order status codes.

  • 1100 ORDER PLACED AT DEALERSHIP / PRELIMINARY ORDER ACCEPTED
  • 2000 ORDER ACCEPTED BY GM
  • 2030 ORDER EDITED BY GM
  • 2500 ORDER PREFERENCED, SENT TO PRODUCTION
  • 3000 ORDER ACCEPTED BY PRODUCTION CONTROL
  • 3100 ORDER AVAILABLE TO SEQUENCE
  • 3300 ORDER SELECTED, SCHEDULED FOR PRODUCITON
  • 3400 ORDER BROADCAST FOR PRODUCTION (LOADED ON ASSEMBLY PLANT COMPUTERS)
  • 3800 ORDER PRODUCED, VIN IS AVAILABLE
  • 4000 VEHICLE AVAILABLE TO SHIP
  • 4150 VEHICLE INVOICED
  • 4B00 ORDER BAYED; VEHICLE IS WAITING ON TRANSPORTATION OR PULLED FOR QUALITY CONTROL
  • 4200 ORDER SHIPPED
  • 4300 INTERMEDIATE DELIVERY, VEHICLE HAS BEEN MOVED TO ANOTHER LOCATION FOR SHIPMENT
  • 4800 RAIL RAMP UNLOAD; VEHICLE AT RAIL ROAD DESTINATION AWAITING TRUCK TRANSPORT TO DEALER
  • 5000 VEHICLE DELIVERED TO DEALER
  • 6000 VEHICLE DELIVERED TO CUSTOMER

0500 currently. This is a code I don't see very often and I'm not sure what it exactly means. I think it means that it's an order that is currently being edited. I could be wrong. I'd contact your dealer and see what they say.

Thank you! The dealership told me I have a build date the week of 5/9- online Chevy support says it hasn’t been accepted by gm yet. Sooo I’m so confused lol!!!

1100 status since 12/20/21. Ouch. Man yours definitely needs to get pulled on the next sold order sweep happening next week. It's ridiculous that GM has let orders sit at 1100 for 4 months now.

Just checking for an update on this: BGNFV1 Chevy chat gave me a different response then when I have checked previously. Wondering if I got lucky and caught the order sweep you were talking about.

Thanks for the time you put in to this for the forum. Nice to know that someone is willing to take the time to help us out with this info.

I would ask your dealership to verify your order number. It's possible that they just submitted a duplicate with another order #.

Thank you! I just emailed them and asked about another order number. It just doesn’t make sense that it hasn’t been updated when they told me I have a production week of 5/9 hopefully it’s just a duplicate and I’m on my way to ownership lol
